The honest part

MRPeasy is great, for the right buyer.

If you make bikes, furniture, cosmetics or electronics, MRPeasy is one of the best-value MRP tools on the market. Cloud-native, decent UX, no implementation fee, monthly billing. For a small workshop shipping stock to a distributor, it works. The mismatch shows up when a food manufacturer tries to bend it into shape, because MRPeasy has no concept of catch-weight, no retailer EDI, no HACCP records, no allergen ladders, no kill-sheet reconciliation, and no mock-recall workflow. Those aren't nice-to-haves for a food factory. They're the difference between shipping and being audited.

If (a) you don't supply retailers who demand EDI or formatted ASNs, (b) you don't work with variable-weight or catch-weight products, (c) allergen and HACCP records live in a physical folder that works for you, and (d) your traceability requirement is a single-lot lookup rather than a full mock-recall drill, then MRPeasy at $49–99/user/month is a very reasonable choice, and you should try it. Come back to us when a retailer sends you a chargeback dispute, an auditor asks for 12 months of batch genealogy in 60 minutes, or you add your first catch-weight SKU. That's the day the maths flips.

For a food factory at 15+ users needing quality control, serial numbers, barcoding and multi-site (MRPeasy Enterprise): you pay ~€980/month, plus you still need to bolt on retailer EDI, COA management and manual HACCP records. Keystone at €790/month flat with those included works out cheaper the moment you cross about 12 users OR need any food-specific workflow.

What does MRPeasy not cover for food manufacturing?

Catch-weight / variable-weight invoicing, retailer EDI (ASN, formatted dispatch to Tesco / Lidl / M&S / SuperValu), native COA generation per batch, allergen ladders with mass-balance audit, kill-sheet reconciliation, mock-recall drills, HACCP record templates, and food-industry regulatory workflows. MRPeasy is a generic MRP tool, it's not built for the wet end of a production line.

Can I migrate from MRPeasy to Keystone?

Yes. Twelve months of historical data (BOMs, lot codes, customers, vendors, stock movements) is included in standard implementation via CSV import. Beyond 12 months is scoped separately, fixed-fee, in writing before we start.

What if I already use MRPeasy and it works?

Then stay on MRPeasy. We're not evangelists. If it fits your operation and you're not fighting it every week to make food-specific things work, don't switch. Come back to us the day a retailer chargeback disputes your dispatch weights, or you need to run a full backward-trace in under an hour for an unannounced inspection.
